Welcome to St. Paul School in Valley Cottage, New York.

Our school is in the Catholic School Region of Rockland County in the Archdiocese of New York. We are an AdvancED accredited, co-educational, Catholic school that educates students from preschool through eighth grade. For over 50 years, our active Catholic school community has been guiding students on their journey to maturity, intellectual independence, and spiritual fulfillment.

Last week Miss Vogelsang and her UPK students were learning how to sew. Sewing is an activity that develops fine motor skills and requires the ability to focus and follow directions. These are all important skills our students will need as they enter Kindergarten in the fall.

In UPK, our students learn in a center-based program through participation in meaningful activities, linked to specific studies, and created to engage our students daily.

UPK applications will be available on January 31st through Child Care Resources of Rockland. If you have any questions about how to apply and request St. Paul School UPK as your preferred program, please contact the school office at 845-268-6506

JOY: Jesus first, Others second, and You last.

This week, Mrs. Pitot revealed the St. Paul School 2018 word of the year. Each year, Mrs. Pitot focuses on a word to help motivate and inspire the students of SPS. The word for 2018 is JOY and for Christmas, Mrs. Pitot generously gifted each SPS student with a JOY ornament.

We pray that every SPS student has a JOY filled Christmas and carries the lesson of JOY in their hearts throughout the entire year.

May we remember to keep the birth of Jesus close to our hearts not only during Christmas, but always.

Our wish for you this year...

An Irish Christmas Blessing
The Light of a Christmas Star to you,
The warmth of home and hearth to you,
The cheer and good will of friends to you,
The hope of a childlike heart to you,
The joy of a thousand angels to you,
The love of the Son,
And God’s peace to you.
